"My biggest satisfaction comes from seeing our team members work together to make sure our customer has the best possible event experience, based on the client’s vision, budget and other variables. When I see beautiful pictures of our customers’ events, I see works of art that happened because of coordination, teamwork, and listening to our customer. Tables and chairs and other items we rent are just "things" until we put everything together into a tented wedding, graduation party, commercial open house, or any other event."

Tim's spare time consists of working in the yard, wishing he could golf well, spending time with his wife Holly, and visiting his children and grandkids.

"I enjoy being part of a small company and getting to perform a variety of tasks. I don't have the glamourous job of helping to create beautiful events for our customers, but I love the back-office support I provide. I like working with everyone at Canton Chair Rental and the family atmosphere we have at our company."

In her spare time Holly enjoys golf, reading, sewing, visiting her grandchildren, and spending time with her husband Tim and their cats.

"I enjoy working with the various types of events that we service at Canton Chair Rental. I love the challenge of details. I also love that every day is a little different. One moment I am working with a bride and a few moments later I am working on a stage for a college graduation. I am lucky to have had the chance to learn so much about event planning and party equipment rental. I have been taught by the best! I love working with customers and my awesome team. My team and I take pride in our work and we treat each event like it was our own. I also love working in a small company. We are a family!"

Daniel enjoys spending his free time buried in his hobbies. He has a deep-seated passion for reading and is a creative writer who frequently publishes poetry and fiction in literary magazines. He greatly enjoys watching football and baseball, and is apparently a collector of college degrees, of which so far he has three.

Kandis and Scott have two children and have recently become proud grandparents! When she’s not at CCR, Kandis is spending time with her family, especially the grand kids, as well as spending time with her horses and her honey bees!

In his spare time Dean enjoys travelling, reading, and working in his yard. In the summer, he enjoys tending his vegetable garden and enjoys planning for next year's garden over the winter months. Dean also enjoys spending time with his young nieces and nephews. He enjoys cooking inside and out and is always looking for good recipes.

In his spare time Lance has recently found that he enjoys spending time at the gun range, honing his target shooting skills and learning more and more about the gun ownership hobby.

Tyler Hershberger
Crew Leader

Tyler has been with Canton Chair Rental for 9 years. Tyler started in high school loading and unloading trucks and maintaining rental equipment. Tyler has since been promoted to a crew leader where he makes deliveries of rental equipment, as well as deliveries and installation of our tents. As a crew leader, he is responsible for other crew members on set ups and makes sure that everything is completed on the job. Tyler is an experienced installer and can handle the installation of our smaller AND larger tents.

"I enjoy making customers events happen. I take pride in a complete, proper, and safe installation for the events that I am responsible for and I make sure that everything is exactly how the customer expected. I also enjoy hearing from the customer when we return to pick-up, how everything went with their event." In his spare time Tyler enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is a gun enthusiast and enjoys target and skeet shooting at the shooting range.

"I like the employees who work in the warehouse and on the delivery teams. After working hard to put a customer’s event together, I enjoy seeing them smile and hearing them say thanks. Then I know we have done our job."

As a newer member of the delivery/warehouse team, Jake is looking forward to becoming a crew leader himself and teaching the newer, younger guys all the things he has learned since he started working at Canton Chair Rental.

When he isn’t working, Jake likes to play video games and visit family and friends.

"I take pride in the quality of our products! We work very hard in the dish and linen room to make sure everything is perfect and ready to rent." Jen started at Canton Chair Rental as a part time summer job in high school. She has been with us for 7 years now, and does a great job, especially when going to a jobsite to set-up an elaborate backdrop for a bride, or a tradeshow for commercial customers.

In her spare time, Jen enjoys reading, crocheting, and catching up on her favorite shows.

"I take pride in seeing colorful racks of linen and neatly stacked racks of dishes lined up ready for loading onto our trucks. I like labeling every tablecloth for its purpose if the customer has provided that information. That way helping hands can see which tablecloth is for the cake table and which is for the DJ. I like being a part of making events as stress-free and lovely as possible."

Carol enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading, keeping up with the daily challenges on Spider Solitaire, and watching the Great British Bakeoff.
